I don't want to spoil it for anyone, but the ending of "This Night I'll Possess your Corpse" was changed by moralistic Brazilian film-censors before its release (I can only guess the original footage was lost... sigh...). Does anyone else think the ending is actually well-done? It differentiates itself from the original and develops the character of Coffin Joe. I think the writer/director may not have agreed with the changes, but at the very least tried at keeping the ending epic. I particularly thought Joe's final line was poetic.
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ
