Saw's plot over time started to become more and more complex and left plot holes throughout the series and then the next film had to go back and fix those plot holes but somehow manage to push the story alone. The original idea was simple but elaborate. After the fourth one I couldn't care less but personally, an unnecessary sequel is just as bad as a remake. Jaws 2 was horrible because it was unnecessary, Wall Street 2 is unnecessary. That's like making a sequel to American Beauty or Forrest Gump. But... Mr. Blue has a point: Saw has not yet reached space so the series won't end. Space seems to be the 'jump the shark' moment with a lot of horror until we get into crossovers.
