(This post was last modified: 03-01-2009, 11:21 PM by Friday The 13th.)
No official plot yet,
but the original told the story of a mysterious puzzle box that's the key to unleashing sadistic demons to the real world.
Updates
- Clive said that he plans to have this to be both the beginning and the end of Pinhead.
- Fully titled Clive Barker Presents: Hellraiser.
--
The original was awesome,
hopefully this one will be just as good if not better.

As long as Rob Zombie isn't the director, I'm sure it will do just fine. LOL

I likes Halloween remake, but oh well. Um, I wonder if the remake will make use of Clive Barkers original story from the Books of Blood. Damn I hope so. Barker is a Genius.:zombie:

Oh dammit, people keep thinking I am getting offended, but in NO WAY AM I!
Okay, lots of people didn't like the remake, but it clicked with me. I like pickled fish too, but I am not going to be offended if you don"t :zombie:

Yeah, don't let Rob Zombie touch any popular horror franchise.

It's kinda sad, that this might be the Beginning and End, of Hellraiser.

This is one movie I really don't think a remake is needed for but I am a huge fan of the Hellraiser mythology and would have to see it. Loved the comics as well. Instead of a remake, expanding on the mythology would be great but unfortunately most everyone who thinks Hellraiser only thinks about Pinhead which is a shame. Bring on more twisted stories from the obsession to solve puzzles is what I say.:nopity:

I'm more confident about the idea of this remake than some, but honestly I think hellraiser is one series that could pretty much go on forever using different stories each time >.<
âThe Fright Night remake is a film which taps into the audienceâs deepest rooted fears, such as those of vampires throwing motorcycles at them. I dread the thought of a vampire throwing a refrigerator or a deskjet printer or... Iâd better stop before I give myself nightmaresâ

I heard that Barker is redesigning the look of Pinhead. From what he stated, it sounded interesting.

I, for one, loved the latter direct to DVD sequels! I'm pretty psyched to see where this remake goes.

Yeah, i did and I just never got into them that much. The whole Hellraiser franchise wasn't really that good for me. The first one and the second I can tolerate but to me... it's 'meh.'
