Thank God they scrapped this. There have been very few remakes worth the film they were printed on. There are original ideas in Hollywood, but until we as consumers tell Hollywood to fuck off, we will continue to get them.
I am a huge FThe13th fan, but the remake was lame. If you are trying to convince yourself that the new NOES remake is any good, you are smoking better shit than I am!
Some movies should just be left alone, and thankfully, one of the all time classics has!
