The highly anticipated sequel in the classic horror franchise follows the story of a group of teenage counselors that have decided to reopen Camp Crystal Lake. One night, while all the counselors are gathered by a campfire, head counselor, Paul, recants the legend of Jason Voorhees, a mentally ill boy that once drowned at the camp, whose mother, Pamela Voorhees, murdered counselors that used to work at the camp in an attempt to avenge her beloved son’s death.
Of course, no one believes this tale, and equates Jason Voorhees to nothing more than an urban legend. However, as counselors begin to start dying off one-by-one, it’s evident that Jason is alive, and he stalks Crystal Lake.
