I've been awake with insomnia for the last two nights...there's some things that chocolate chip cookies can't fix ;(
He said last night he was going to clean the kitchen (didn't) while he did fold the towels and sort the undies its only because he needed them!
was it too much to ask that one night out of the week (or per month if we are "really" cutting corners) he either make dinner or we go out to give me a break?
also - I made plans for mid-September and NOW he tells me of something he was going to that night?

I'd leave but I wonder if he'd notice except for when the dishes or dirty laundry piles up

Sorry Caro - that is pissy. Its never easy but its either sticking to your decisions or jumping when your strings are pulled.... My ex's mother was like that - thought she could get all her own way with my daughter until I told her to **** off if she couldn't tow the line. Not that I'd say tell your mum that lol - but it might be worth your while riding this out. Good luck either way. Happy is still better than right x

I lost my dad just before Katrina and he and my daughter were close. Close as I used to be...before... anyway (sigh)
Lately she's been dividing her time between her other grand daughter who lives back in New Orleans and her boyfriend who lives up near New York.
So when she asks when can the FAMILY get together for a Disney vacation? Ok - SHE got to go because her son (my older and only) brother took them (didn't invite us) but had no qalms about posting the pictures (during my birthday?!) of thier trip

The Postal service sucks. Will have to call them tomorrow. I tracked a package and the Post Office marked it as delivered at 5:30pm today and guess what no package. It's not in my box or front steps and I was home all day.:reddisgust:

Thats like any officious idiot. Same with our council. Its always 'been done' - has to be your fault. I called them up because the bins hadn't been emptied. Oh - I can't have had them out on the road in time... Really? I said. This is a private area with a courtyard outside - there is no public road and they are permanently in the same damn spot. Assuming dickhead. Hated having to send them out again just for me. Tough ****. People pay enough in taxes - do your damn jobs we pay you for.
