Tina Shepard (Lar Park Lincoln) still struggles with her past, and watching her father drown in front of her. In an attempt to confront her past and hopefully move on, her psychiatrist, Dr. Crews (Terry Kiser) suggests that they return to the place of her fathers unfortunate demise — Crystal Lake. However, Dr. Crews is more interested in Tina’s telekinetic abilities, which were also responsible for the unfortunate death of her father.

Unfortunately, while using Tina’s abilities for his own benefit, Tina accidentally resurrects masked maniac, Jason Voorhees, whom has been resting at the bottom of Crystal Lake for quite some time. Jason returns from his watery grave, and that’s when Tina, her doctor, mother, and a group of people partying in the area must survive while being stalked by Jason Voorhees.
